Jessica Hart is an artist educator based in Tempe, AZ. Her work investigates space and color and often serves as handmade explorations of digital imagery's structures and behaviors. She takes a multi-media approach, employing both traditional and digital media, to explore her interactions with space. More recently, her interest lies in studying creativity as an artist and an educator.
The relational experience and the creative demands of adjusting to student needs led Jessica to teach. Jessica has worked in elementary and secondary schools and prioritizes a choice-based curriculum. She follows a TAB (Teaching Artistic Behavior) pedagogy, focusing on her students' creative development. The daily creativity she witnesses in her students working through visual challenges motivates her research as an educator.
